Confidentiality
One of the benefits of not involving your insurance company is privacy of your personal records, insuring confidentiality.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. All sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be charged for the full session fee. If you can not make an appointment in-person, you can opt to attend a virtual or phone session.
When you give us a 24 hour notice, it gives us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client who has been waiting. We appreciate your understanding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common queries about our services and how we can assist you.
How do I know which therapist is for me?
Our therapists are highly qualified and offer different specialties and therapeutic approaches. If you’re not sure which therapist is right for you, please call our office at (561) 748-1244. Kim, our lovely and very helpful Office Assistant, can help you determine the best fit for you.
At anytime, If you don’t feel like your therapist is the right fit, please call and request to schedule with another therapist — no hard feelings. We know that having the right therapist is extremely important for you to meet your goals in therapy and we want to make sure you feel confident you are with the right therapist.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, we do! Here are the benefits of virtual counseling:
❋ Counseling sessions in the privacy of your own home.
❋ Save time by not commuting to and from the counseling office.
❋ You get more anonymity, by not coming into the counseling office.
❋ You can meet with us, regardless of where you are in Florida.
❋ Easy access if you live far or are traveling.
Where are you located?
The address is 1132 W. Indiantown Road, Suite #202, Jupiter, FL 33458. Our office is on the second floor in the two story yellow building with the ‘SOLA’ sign. The building itself is located within the Shoppes at Jupiter Creek and next to the Brass Ring Pub.
Here is a map and directions to our office.
Do you take insurance?
To maintain your privacy and confidentiality, we choose to not take insurance. Insurance companies require that you be given a mental illness diagnosis to receive reimbursement. This diagnosis will become part of your permanent health record. Insurance companies will monitor your personal
files with the private details of your sessions to determine if you should receive mental healthcare. We are highly committed to protecting your privacy, and do not believe you need a mental health diagnosis to receive counseling.
We can provide you with a superbill if you choose to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please keep in mind that a diagnosis will be needed
How much does each session cost?
You can review our fees here.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed varies from person to person and depends on many factors. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine the length of attendance. Of course, there is no obligation to continue. Please keep in mind that therapy is an investment in yourself, just like exercise, and it takes consistency for improved change. We recommend attending sessions weekly or biweekly, particularly at the beginning of therapy.
