Paola has been working with children, adolescents, families, and women for ten years. She provides a warm, caring therapeutic approach to each client, creating a safe environment to facilitate behavioral and emotional changes and improve over-all well-being. Paola understands that each person or family is unique, and her approach will vary according to age, background and family dynamics. She has experience with a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, grief, emotional and mood dysregulation, family  changes, academic challenges and/or low self- esteem. She uses “hands-on approaches,” as well as, mindfulness, CBT and talk therapies to help her clients process thoughts/emotions, learn coping strategies and gain confidence in relationships and in themselves.
