Shirley Gilbert, MS
Shirley specializes in working with females of all ages, from teens through older adults.
Over the past two decades, she has worked with young people, families and women facing life challenges such as divorce, loss & transition or low self-esteem. She believes in everyone’s potential to self-actualize and live a happy life. She has an eclectic approach to counseling which she tailors to each client’s unique needs. She especially enjoys working with women, as well as teens, and families experiencing divorce. Shirley is trained in EMDR, CBT and Gottman for Couples.
She has earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from the State University of New York and is Licensed as a School Counselor in both New York and Florida. Additionally, Shirley is licensed in the State of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor.
She has raised three beautiful daughters, and is has been living in Jupiter for 30 years.
